Mood Board: February 2018

February has just begun and already it's a whirlwind. I've started a new job at a blockchain startup and will be moving to San Francisco soon because of it.

I've collected so much content for this month that I felt compelled to make it double the size. I originally made two panels, then smushed them together, letting Gugu Mbutha-Raw's dress do the "blending" of the two. Alone, the panel on the left is aggressively pink and effeminate, full of fluffy textures, florals, and variants of that rosy millennial hue. The right panel evokes a bolder side, full of reflective materials and vivid cooler tones. There's a bit too much to cover individually, but there's a whole lot of Tracy Ellis Ross and other powerful, beautiful women and symbolism that goes along with it.
