  • Doubled new monthly user sign-ups for Alpaca by identifying and capturing qualified leads in our online communities across Discord, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Grew followers by 1158% in 2 mo and launched the Alpaca newsletter, Alpaca Ambassadors program, and Alpaca EDU (college ambassador program).

  • Wrote, edited, and managed all content for Alpaca and Bumblebee. Alpaca’s monthly impressions grew by 691% and engagement by 391%.

Social Media

  • Solely responsible for organic and paid social media, grew followers 500% on LinkedIn, 15% on Facebook, 5% on Twitter and tripled engagement in ~9 months.

  • Led product marketing for all GitHub events and product launches, creating and leading campaigns that drove 80K+ early sign-ups for GitHub Package Registry.

  • Wrote and implemented editorial and brand guidelines across the entire organization.


PRODUCT HUNT

Community & Marketing Management

  • Responsible for all editorial content including email, blog, social media.

  • Launched the Product Hunt Beta Group, a 100+ person Facebook group with our most engaged users, conducted frequent user interviews to inform the product team.

  • Led and launched various projects including the Product Hunt Contributor Program, Ask Product Hunt, and first (one of many!) monetization strategies.

  • Managed the entire website - content, social, and the homepage - during the weekend shifts, driving 50% DAU increases when I was responsible.
