Cloud Paint

Cloud Paint is my holy grail product. For years I tried other brands' cream and liquid blushes to no avail. The release of cloud paint prompted me to give liquid blush one last go... and the first time I tried it I threw out all my powder blushes.

The color selection is flawless, and super blend-able if you should decide to mix them for a custom hue. I use Puff for a more girly look, Beam for my everyday glow, Haze for a hearty "omg I'm blushing... constantly" look and Dusk for contour.

Lash Slick

I told myself that I wouldn't buy anything but drugstore mascara from now on... and then Glossier released theirs. I had to try it. And you know what? I'm not going back. This stuff has been worth the wait (they've been working on their formula and brush shape for YEARS).

It really doesn't flake, as long as you don't leave hard core moisturizing oil on under your eyes. To solve that little issue, dab a bit of wow-der (or other powder) under eyes.

Body Hero- Cream

I like to describe Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream as the low-key, mega-hydrating version of RiRi's body lava. I enjoy slathering on large quantities to my entire person on a daily basis.

Body Hero imparts a pearlescent glow in addition to the rich-hydrated-skin-glow that the lotion's primary formulation provides. It also has a very light scent that makes me feel feminine and lovely (without it being overpowering). Hello, beautiful bare legs.

Perfecting Skin Tint

I use this every day. I've never been a huge "foundation" person, but I've also never really grasped the concept of "spot applying" concealer. I just like to slap on a light coat of something that makes my whole face match without erasing my freckles or going cake-y. Skin Tint (in medium, for me) is the answer. 🙏

Haloscope

GLOW. UP. I can't get enough highlighter. Haloscope provides the dewiest, most hydrating highlight ever. My personal favorite shade is Topaz; it gives me a hint of bronzy glow (so I can pretend I ever go outside to see the sun). Just swipe on and blend the edges with a fingertip and VOILA.

Balm Dot Com

Throw out that Smith's rosebud salve, because Glossier has got you covered (and does the job better). Plus, these balms come in six balms (and counting), so pick what you'd like to smell / taste like and start hydrating. I use mine primarily on my lips, but it also is divine for cuticles.

Boy Brow

So the whole marketing campaign behind Boy Brow is EMBRACE YOUR CRAZY BROWS (and maybe make them a little more luscious with this product). It's the brow gel of everyone's dreams, and if you want a little more "BOOM" with your "POW", grab a colored shade that matches your hair. Unsurprisingly, my shade is "Brown".

Milky Jelly

I've been able to throw out my makeup remover because of the introduction of Milky Jelly to my skincare routine. It's like a magic trick - apply to dry skin, gently rub in (just like any cleanser), then rinse off. TADA, clean, soft skin. No tightness, no dryness. 🙌 It can also remove lipstick if you squirt some onto a cotton round and gently rub then rinse.

Generation G

All of Glossier's claims about Gen G are completely true. Buildable? Check. Already blotted appearance? Check. Not advertised but also true: won't transfer onto bae's face when delivering kisses? Check. Their six shade range has turned out to be more than sufficient and completely beautiful. My personal fave is the magenta hue, Jam.

Invisible Shield

In the past it was always makeup OR sunscreen for me. Then Glossier released their sunscreen and it took me one application to change my world view. This stuff is sheer and light and not sticky or greasy AT ALL. It's like primer! And there isn't a defined sunscreen smell, but a light hint of one (akin to applying "Beach Bum" and catching a whiff of the lingering scent after a few hours). It makes sunscreen delightful.

Super Glow

So I was super skeptical of serums but Glossier has turned me into a big fan (of course). Super Glow is a brightening vitamin C based serum (just like Drunk Elephant's majorly famous one), but a lot lighter. It absorbs hella fast and makes my face look less dull, plus makes my moisturizer feel more effective. The only product that has compared to this for me is MILK's Watermelon Brightening Serum stick.

Super Bounce

If you ever need a skin pick-me-up, this is the answer (after a mask or two). This adds the "plumpness" back into my face after major facial drought. It's amazing how, visually, my face can go from grubby to healthy with a wash and a coat of this. I allows follow with moisturizer, but it has a lot less heavy lifting to do if Super Bounce is applied prior. The Ordinary makes a far cheaper alternative, but it's far more tacky/viscous.

Glossier You

I'm very picky about my perfumes, usually going for rich gourmand scents. Then again, anything Glossier releases, I need to get my grubby little paws on. So I bought "You" and thoroughly enjoy it as a diversion from the norm. It's relatively powder-y, but versatile on each person that tries it. It's not overwhelmingly floral either, which is one of the important things I require from a fragrance.

Body Hero Oil Wash

This stuff is LUXE AF. If you haven't used an oil based body wash before, why not start with the best? (Aka, this.) It's got a light scent similar to the Body Hero lotion and lathers lightly. I've tried nearly all of the "mega hydrating" body washes on the market and this kicks all of their tushes. My boyfriend even tried it and it has his (very surprised) stamp of approval.

Stretch Concealer

So stretch concealer does exactly what it sounds like-- it flexes with your face. It's more comfortable and buildable than most I've tried, but it's also a bit more sheer and comes in less color variations than I find ideal for a concealer. The combination of how long one little pot can last and the fact that it's in a little pot, being scooped out with fingers, means it can get kinda gross over time (hi, little hair!).

Moisturizing Moon Mask

This mask is solid, but definitely skews for the "oily to normal" crowd. It has a gel-y cream-y texture that sinks into my skin FAST (leaving little to none to wipe off). I have tried subbing this out as a night cream (no rinse off), and I prefer that use case for it on my dry skin. My skin needs a LOT of moisture, and maybe I need to drink some more water, too.

Lip Gloss

For gloss factor, this lip gloss is off the charts, and deserves the name "lip glass". However, I'm a major sparkle and flavor fan when it comes to gloss. Maybe it's the memories of all the Smacker's as a kid? I would love to see a few more color / sparkle options with the gloss like they did with the Balm Dot Com's.

Priming Moisturizer Rich

I participated in the market research as they were formulating this "rich sister" to their OG priming moisturizer. In a lot of ways, they delivered. It has a light, herbaceous / lavender scent (that isn't overpowering), and is rich, creamy, and sinks in fast. However, I've found that it sometimes pills under makeup or doesn't provide all-day hydration.

Soothing Face Mist

I always found facial mists a little silly, and something rich adults did on airplanes for dramatic effect. Now, I'm that dramatic oldie, misting myself liberally on a daily basis. I like to do a hearty mist and massage post-micellar water in the morning as opposed to a full face wash (so as not to dry out my skin). I'll also add a spritz if my skin ever gets tight/dull and I don't want to reapply all my makeup midday.

Super Pure

Super Pure is the third of the three "Supers" (Glossier's serums). I personally haven't found much use for Super Pure, given my tendency for dry af and mostly clear skin. However, on high stress weeks (when I know I'm prone to pimples), I slap on a hearty coat of this to my "pimple danger zone" and it does help reduce the frequency and / or severity of the eventual "chimple" appearance.

Wowder Duo

Aside from a brief affair with Bare Minerals, I've largely avoided powders. I've tended to take the "dewy road" (even if I look sweaty). Then I realized all mascara comes off immediately when in contact with oily surfaces (i.e. moisturized under-eyes) so I started adding a touch of powder there. Wowder is so fine that it doesn't get cake-y, AND it completely solves my mascara problem.

Mega Greens Galaxy Mask

I love to apply this mask after a long trip or with the gals on Girl's Night. It goes on green, then dries into this pale, sickly, grey-green shade over the 20 minutes of wear. If you move your face, the mask will crack or crease in HILARIOUS ways. There are "blackmail" videos of me making weird faces on multiple friends' phones. After removing, your skin looks and feels great, though.

Solution

I've been a long-time user of Clinique's "Step 2" toner from their 3 Step system. I'm not completely sold on Solution as a replacement, mostly because I'm nervous about the tight, tingly sensation it leaves on my face. I also know that I'm not the target customer (I've got hella dry skin and little to no acne), so I haven't been able to see progress on any acne or scarring. I'm not opposed, but also not sold.

Priming Moisturizer

Priming moisturizer is great for layering with sunscreen and more moisturizing makeups, like BB or CC creams. It's light af, blends right in, and leaves a velvety smooth surface behind. It's not trying to do any heavy lifting. Supplement it with others, or wear on a day where you know you'll be getting sweaty and / or reapplying sunscreen, and boom, it's perfect for that use case.

Lidstar

I was majorly pumped about the release of Lidstar, but the reality has fallen short of my expectations. I'm not pleased with the shade range (half are very pink-y, the others don't compliment my skin tone). They also crease very quickly (if you open your eye and the product is still drying) it will create an odd "bunchy" line. I've also had issues with my eyelids getting very itchy a few hours after application.

Glossier You Solid

I ADORE the smell of Glossier You, but the solid version has some serious flaws holding me back from loving it in the same way. First, the adorable little egg shaped container is absurdly heavy / dense. It's weight-prohibitive from living in my backpack for everyday use. Second, the amount of actual solid perfume contained inside is weirdly disproportional to the size. More, please!

Glossier Sweatshirt

So I can't get my lil hands on a Camp Glossier shirt (yet), but they've placated me with this adorable swag for sale on their site. A classic grey crew, advertising Glossier is exactly the kind of thing I need for my Saturday morning coffee runs, layered for long flights, and just in general for life. It's also cozy af, so I feel no shame in admitting I own two of these for maximum comfort and laundry efficiency.
